Fender American Ultra Stratocaster

Fender American Ultra Stratocaster is a versatile and contemporary take on Fender's most famous design. Replacing the American Elite Stratocaster, the new Ultra model boasts a host of fantastic new features. It is Fender's most advanced production guitar.

The Fender American Ultra Strat has many modern features to bring it forward to the 21st century. Ultra noiseless pickups make up the core of its sound, providing glassy, spanky, clear strat tones with none of the hum. A Compound Radius Fingerboard with ultra rolled fingerboard edges provide a thoroughly modern playing experience and allows chords to ring true and make soloing an absolute breeze. The sculpted rear body contour with its tapered neck heel gives you easy access to the upper frets. But it's not all new, the Ultra series keeps what made the strat so great with an alder or ash body, maple neck, and bone nut all helping to create the classic Fender sound.

To help the discerning players of today the American Ultra series prioritises playing comfort and playability making chording as easy as soloing. A modern D neck profile delivers a perfect home for your fretting hand and along with the satin finish it makes playing such a blissful experience. Along with the advanced electronics which make this one of the most versatile strats you can find, and the classic 2 point deluxe synchronized tremolo, these guitars truly can do it all.

The Ultra Stratocaster differs from other models in several ways. Most significantly, it has a set of newly designed Ultra Noiseless pickups. It has the classic Stratocaster sound, but almost zero background noise or hum. The neck is redesigned with a comfortable 'Modern D' profile and a compound radius fingerboard which flattens out as it reaches the body. The body itself has a sculpted heel for greater upper fret access. The guitars are available in a range of new finishes, including new bursts and metallic colours.

So if you're after a classic strat but with modern sensibility and features, look no further than the American Ultra series. An HSS model is available with a bridge position humbucker, for greater tonal versatility. Other upgrades include locking tuners, an S-1 switch, and a hardshell case. The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster is an exceptional addition to Fender's American-made instruments. It is available now from every guitarguitar store.
