Ibanez Guitar Icon Grand Final at guitarguitar Epsom!
Shredders, your time has come! The submissions level was insane, the talent we witnessed was a sight to behold and we can agree that the future of the guitar is looking exceptionally bright here in the UK!
It was no easy task to pick just six guitarists but the Ibanez team have successfully chosen the shredders who ticked all the boxes and beyond. If you were one of them, you will have been notified about your successful application by now and invited to perform in front of the judges at the grand final taking place at guitarguitar Epsom on the 10th of July!
Ibanez Icon: The Grand Final - Finalists Performances
The talented finalists will perform 2 pieces: 1 original composition and 1 improvised jam over a JTC track in front of an audience (see below for tickets) and a jury panel made up of special guests:
Thom Pankhurst, Jake Willson, Danny Dela Cruz, Conor O'Keefe and Ibanez UK and Laney representatives.
One winner will be announced at the end of the night. The winner takes it all!

The Ibanez Guitar Icon is shaping to be a spectacular gig and a rare opportunity to see future stars on their early journey. We’re offering free tickets to anyone who’d like to attend! Ibanez fans, guitar nerds, fellow local shredders and of course friends and family of the finalists. Whether you’re up for an evening gig with free entry or simply want to show your support to the artists, grab your ticket today and come over for a night full of high notes!
