A really good piece of kit for the money

I ordered the guitar through Ewan at the Camden branch of Guitar Guitar along with another Ozark model, to audition. Both guitars were available for my visit and I was looked after by Adam (in Ewan's absence). This is the third guitar I have bought from the Camden branch over the last year, and each time the service has been exemplary. The guitar itself is absolutely stunning, aesthetically, and it also plays like a dream, both acoustically and electrically. The staff at the Camden branch are superb - knowledgeable, interesting and good humoured. It is an absolute pleasure to visit the shop - and the range of guitars on display is second to none. Very well made guitar. Compared to other resonators sounds slightly more quiet acoustically but still good for such a slim body. Much heavier than anticipated. Biscuit bridge gives less sustain than my spider bridge resonator but the tone is very suitable for Delta style blues. Pickup produces good sound but only criticism is that the tone control is imbalanced mainly towards high frequency (about 80 - 90%) with little manipulation of lower end bass tones. Delivery was very prompt and packaging excellent. All told I am very pleased with my purchase.

for the price this is a well built guitar but would probably better without the gold finish as this quickly wears but apart from that an excellently made resonator
