This lovely Takamine GD11M NS is a dreadnought acoustic made entirely from laminated mahogany. The helps to both give the guitar a distinctively gorgeous appearance and also keep production costs down in order to deliver a great value guitar. The mahogany is tricked out with some multi-ply black and white binding on the body to increase the guitar’s visual impact.

This model projects well sonically with a voice that’s clear and strong with lots of power in the midrange. Dreadnoughts typically perform well as jack-of-all-trades and the same is true here: chordal strumming and fingerpicked passages sound equally satisfying.
