What we say:

The revoiced 700 series from Taylor blends Indian Rosewood with Lutz Spruce to create a range of guitars that are all loud and bright sounding with a pleasing mid scoop. The instruments all incorporate Taylor’s innovative Performance Bracing to improve dynamic response and efficiency of tonal transfer. The visual appointments are made using wooden features like Hawaiian Koa binding and Douglas Fir sound hole rosettes as well as a heat-treated wooden pickguard. Special ‘Reflection’ fretboard inlays adorn each model, drawing from traditional designs and made from green Abalone.

The 714ce is a Grand Auditorium body shape which is a great all-purpose design that’ll do strumming and fingerstyle equally well. It’s justifiably Taylor’s most consistently popular body size. There's a lot of power and tone available on this guitar, with delicate-to-loud dynamics easy to perform. It's a very inspiring instrument with its own complexity of tone.

The 714ce also comes fitted with the wonderful Expression System 2 pickup system to give your live performances some really high quality, articulate acoustic guitar tones that your audience will love and appreciate.
