I love this guitar, it was not the brand nor the type I necessarily went in to buy but its warmth and playability shone out above many brands including those that are considered premium. I love this Yamaha and I just want to keep picking it up. Sometimes the guitar finds you, don't be sacred to try as many as possible and be open to being surprised. The cost of a guitar is not always relevant!!

Fabulous guitar for the price I paid. Bright and loud and bold. The onboard electronic will take a bit of experimenting with but the combination of this and the THR5A have given me a wonderful range of sounds at home without annoying the neighbours or the cats.

This guitar has a very nice sound. I am still getting used to this bigger guitar, when my previous guitar (also a Yamaha) is a concert size and my new guitar is dreadnought but with practice I'll hopefully be as smooth in changes and accurate with stretches. I wonder whether the fret separators are raised more in comparison with a concert size guitar because there is a slight bump when sliding but I'll get used to that with practice. This guitar has a ring to it that I haven't heard with any of my previous guitars, it's a very nice ring and I prefer the sound and the feel of an electric acoustic over a pure acoustic. I am very pleased with this purchase.
