What we say:
Fender’s Jazz bass is one of the most popular bass designs in the world. In production since 1960, the fundamental design was remained: as with Fender’s other heritage models, they seemed to get things pretty right first time round!
That being said, technology and playing tastes have progressed and changed since 1960 and this Deluxe Active Jazz Bass model has been made to reflect this. Modern appointments meet a traditional look in a move that should please most bassists.
This model is finished in Surf Pearl and has a cool contrasting Black pickguard.
A slim and playable maple neck has a C-profile and a Pau Ferro fingerboard with a contemporary 12” radius which allows the player creative freedom and maximum expression as they construct their basslines.
Two Vintage voiced Noiseless single coil pickups deliver a preferred tone with no background hum. Active electronics give you a powerful onboard 3 band EQ for shaping your sound as you play. The active circuit can be turned off completely via a mini toggle switch: this gives you even more sounds at your fingertips!Countless players from John Paul Jones and Larry Graham to Geddy Lee and Flea have all relied on the adaptable tone and feel of the Jazz bass to get them what they need and now it’s your turn. The Deluxe Active Jazz bass is simply an unbeatable deal for any bass player looking for timeless quality, iconic looks and unsurpassed tone.
