Constructed from three of Indonesia's best tone woods, the Mahalo Java MJ1 Soprano Ukulele features an arched back and Canadian Nubone bridge saddles to increase projection and bass response. This model is also fitted with Aquila strings to produce a fuller, richer and more balanced sound.

The Nyatoh wood body delivers a sweet and mellow resonance that works perfectly with the mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. The see-through finish lets you see the gorgeous wood grain underneath, giving the J series ukulele a far classier aesthetic than its price would suggest. Similarly, premium features such as an arched back and NuBone XV bridge saddles give this ukulele a lot of bang for your buck. Includes a carry bag so you can take your ukulele safely to the beach.

Not the best Uke out there but you get what you pay for! I only need it for a small length of time, as I have limited function left in my left hand due to a nerve tumor I have. I had to give up playing drums and guitar and eventually I won't be able to play anything at all with the hand but I can at least play simple chords on this. Since singing is my main gig thankfully, it's a great wee accompanyment!
