It is advisable to get this shorter pole. Especially if you gig country pubs with lower ceilings.

I am part of a duo. We have two mics, two guitars and a backing track player. We play in some clubs where the ceiling is low relative to the stage to the point where the speaker top array would hitting the roof with the standard pole. The small pole allows us to avoid this situation. I would mention that at £100 per pole it is wee bit expensive for the size. And at that price they should provide a designed for purpose bag or padded carry pouch. The small poles did work well in the above situation
