What we say:
PRS’s S2 range has been a hit since they were released a couple of years ago. USA made guitars, stripped to the essentials and ready to rock, the S2 range provides an affordable pathway to play an American PRS.
This model is one of the most famous of their designs, the Custom 24. Similar to the Core range model but with a different carve on the top, this versatile guitar can lend itself to a myriad of styles and genres with total command.
Coil tapped 85/15 S humbuckers (wound specially to recreate the definitive tone of the original ‘pre-factory’ PRS’s of the mid 80s) provide a plethora of high quality tones. Heat and sustain are hear in force along with a very welcome clarity of tone that makes for a very 'present' sounding guitar.
PRS's celebrated tremolo design is present here: you'll get plenty of dive and wobble without going out of tune, thanks to good design, locking tuners and a headstock design that allows straight string pull.
The construction is still a mahogany body with a maple top and a set neck: this is the real deal! This particular S2 Custom 22 is finished in Dark Cherry Sunburst.Specification
