What we say:

This Streamliner model is the excellent G2420T. It’s a single cutaway hollowbody with plenty of style.

This is one good looking guitar: a fantastic trapeze tailpiece sits alongside some serious-looking Broad’Tron pickups, Hump Block inlays and a fantastic Riviera Blue finish. Gretsch guitars are as famous for their looks as they are for their sounds and this model does not let the team down!

The Broad’Tron pickups on here are a real success: these humbucking units bring width and depth to your sound whilst still retaining the all-important twang that makes Gretsch guitars sound distinct from other brands.

Another important addition is the inclusion of a genuine Bigsby B60 tremolo. These devices allow you to drop notes a little in pitch for some brilliant 50s-style special effects. The Bigsby also adds a real visual statement and sense of attitude to the instrument.

We love how playable the Streamliner range is in general: 12” radius fingerboards make playing easier and the slightly shorter scale length enhances this.

This guitar is an excellent choice for any player seeking a semi with a cool look, tons of attitude and addictive playability.
