The Taylor K22ce is a fine example of how great a Grand Concert sized acoustic can be. It features solid koa for a beautiful sound and look. V-class bracing as well as the fantastic Expression 2 pickup system means that it sounds great both acoustically or when plugged in. This makes it a great choice for the musician who plays in a wide variety of scenarios. The smaller body size makes it easy to transport and also extremely comfortable to play. A venetian cutaway gives easy access to the upper register; ideal for those players who want to do more than just strum.
Features We Love:
Hawaiian Koa
Koa provides a middle ground between the crispness of rosewood and the thick, solid mid-range of mahogany. It is found only on the Hawaiian Islands and provides an impressive amount of power and projection. Not only is it a wood that improves with age but it also looks great.
V-Class Bracing
V-class bracing is a pioneering design from Taylor. It is a new sonic "engine" that transforms the way an acoustic guitar top vibrates. This improves the sound dramatically. V-bracing was developed by master guitar designer Andy Powers and is a bold departure from traditional X-bracing. It produces notes that are louder, longer sustaining, and more in tune with each other.
Expression System 2
This guitar comes fitted with the wonderful Expression System 2 pickup system. This will give your live performances some really high quality, articulate acoustic guitar tones. Perfect for those who need amplification and versatility.
