While some microphones are suitable for multiple uses, PodMic has been tailored to specifically sound great with speech. The advantage of this is it allows the mic to have a very close sound, with minimal ambient noise and that signature "radio voice" tone.
Internal Pop Filter
With sensitive microphones, it's easy to capture gusts of air called plosives on your recording, which causes an undesirable popping sound. To prevent this the PodMic features an internal pop filter that catches the plosive before it reaches your microphone's capsule without changing the tone of your voice.
