Analog Studio Tone

The Colour Box V2 accurately recreates the tone of a guitar plugged directly into the channel strip on an analog mixing console. The result is a distinctive fuzz tone that’s instantly recognisable from tracks like “Black Dog” by Led Zeppelin, “Revolution” by The Beatles and “Heroes” by David Bowie. With that said, it’s not all about Fuzz! The same process was also a big part of Nile Rodgers’ guitar tone on those classic Chic records and the Colour Box V2 excels at capturing those pristine staccato funk tones. It’s a very versatile pedal and will add a characterful flavour to anything you run through it.

Silent Switching

No longer just a studio tool, the new silent switching allows for a smooth activation without any clicking or “pops”, allowing you to add the Colour Box V2 to your live rig.

Combination Inputs

The Combination Inputs allow you to use the Colour Box V2 with microphones, synthesizers and other equipment. They will even supply Phantom Power to your condenser microphone, essentially giving you affordable access to a Neve preamp.
