What we say:

At A Glance:

Real, pure, and powerful, Electromatic hollow-body guitars are full of attitude! This brand new G5410T Electromatic "Rat Rod" is no exception to this, in fact, it takes that attitude up to the next level!

Defining factors of the G5410T Electromatic are it's volume and it's resonance. With it's hollow body and true Filter'Tron voice, this guitar bursts through any mix with a punchy tone reminiscent of late '50s "snap".

Delivering roaring tones that have set apart Gretsch as a go-to for rock guitarists, you're in safe hands with the G5410T Electromatic Rat Rod.

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5 (2 reviews)

I read a write-up of the Gretsch Rat Rod in Guitarist mag last year and it really caught my eye so I decided to save up old school style and finally got to treat myself! So glad I did, this is a seriously cool-looking guitar and is great to play and sounds terrific with my Fender Blues Jr and various pedals. I play acoustic mostly though have a sweet Strat which I love; this Gretsch feels more like an acoustic to play, which I like - it?s hollow body of course, so it is essentially acoustic. And did I mention it looks really cool? The chrome controls and the Bigsby along with the red tail-light inspired pick-ups really work. A very cool guitar indeed.

Top guitar seems capable of playing anything. I struggled a bit to line it up with a gig bag that fits.
