Fans of Nuno Bettencourt are certainly going to love the Washburn 4N. Seen as the companion guitar to his well known N4, this has many of the same outstanding features. Known for his high octane playing in the bands Extreme and Generation Axe, plus having had a fruitful relationship with Washburn for over 30 years, this is a great addition to his line of signature models. The Washburn Custom Shop team have spent many hours taking measurements of Nuno's own axe to make sure this instrument plays and feels as good as his! Featuring the Stephens Extended Cutaway and packed with all you need for riffing hard and fast, this natural looking beauty is ready for action!

A favourite amongst many guitarists, this reliable piece of hardware will allow you to perform a whole range of pitch altering acrobatics with minimal effort. Something you can certainly hear in abundance in Nuno's playing!

Pickup Pairing

Essential to that iconic sound, this duo of tone monsters really deliver. Not only does each sound incredible in its own right but when combined they blend beautifully for a rich tone full of harmonic delights. The Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck is smooth and articulate while the Bill Lawrence L-500 in the bridge gives excellent definition, especially on string bends due to the dual blade construction.

Birds Eye Maple Neck

First of all, this neck looks lovely. It fits perfectly with the natural look of the guitar but also adds some extra style. The neck itself has been crafted to the same measurements as Nuno's 4N. They even created new tools to make sure this was an accurate recreation of the original!
