The ESP LTD EC-1000T CTM Tobacco Sunburst Satin brings traditional appointments to the range. The traditional spec starts with a full-thickness body chambered to ensure the instrument does not hold too much weight. There is also no waist-cut which can be found on typical EC-1000 models. To round off the traditional vibe of the guitar is the Tobacco Sunburst Satin Finish which allows the grains of the maple cap to come through vividly. The traditional spec stops there. The EC-1000T brings you the best of both worlds. Taking traditional features and blending them with modern, upgraded components. The modern features start with the pickups. Loaded in the EC-1000T are a set of Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers. The Fluence range of pickups has been reinventing what a guitar pickup is capable of doing. Three different voicings are available in each pickup. Other upgraded components include stainless steel frets, a TonePros bridge, and a Thin U profile neck.

Fluence pickups

The Fishman Fluence Open Core pickups utilise new technology to give you a vast array of sonic opportunities. The internal workings of this pickup do not operate in the same way as a traditional coil. The pickups themselves are printed instead of wound, enabling Fishman to voice these pickups in a way that has never been done before. The result is the ability to access different voicings without compromising on tone in any position. Voices one and two allow you to switch between active and passive tones, whilst position three will allow you to access a silent single-coil mode.

Stainless Steel Frets

Twenty-two extra-jumbo Stainless Steel frets have been worked into the Macassar ebony fingerboard. Stainless Steel will outlast traditional fret material, meaning you have one of the most durable frets currently available. Their increased size makes it easier to fret a note resulting in a faster-playing neck.

Locking Tuners

Locking tuners are a welcome sight that does away with string slippage at the tuning peg, resulting in tighter tuning stability. String breaks are an unavoidable occurrence. Locking tuners make them less of a concern as swapping strings is a rapid and effortless endeavour.
