With each pedal packing in so many unique features it's important to get things right and Alexander pedals strive to deliver quality.

6 Delay Modes

We all want our moneys worth and Alexander Pedals certainly deliver. Each mode will offer you some stunning tones but in true Alexander fashion can just as easily transition seamlessly in to sonic madness. Starting simply with the MOD mode you have digital delay combined with modulation. The BEND mode features a pitch-shift delay for some truly extraordinary sounds. In DUAL mode you have, you guessed it, a Dual Delay line. REV gives you access to forward and reverse delay sounds along with a tape stop sound in the middle. ARP gives that classic chiptune arpeggiator sound. Finally DYNA is a dynamic delay that responds to your pick attack which will alter the delay time. A description of these sounds doesn't scratch the surface of the tones you can create with the Radical Delay DX, jump in and explore the fun of this delay!

Presets

With 4 built in presets this quadruples your sound in 1 small tone footprint. If you're looking for more don't worry with an external MIDI controller you can increase this to 16 total presets.

  • Delay Modes

  • MOD - Digital delay with modulation. Tweak controls the mod depth and ALT controls the mod rate.
  • BEND - Pitch shifted delay. Tweak selects the interval (-12, -7, -2, -1, detune, +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, +7, +12) and ALT puts the shift before or after the delay.
  • DUAL - Dual-tap delay line. Tweak controls the delay time for the second tap and ALT controls its feedback.
  • REV - Tweak warps the delay from forward to reverse, with “tape stop” sounds available in between. ALT mixes between the main reverse delay and a forward delay. Just want reverse? Set Mix, ALT, and Tweak to maximum.
  • ARP - Chiptune arpeggiator delay. Tweak controls the speed of the arpeggiation and ALT selects from 8 scale options.
  • DYNA - Dynamic delay. The delay time sweeps with your picking attack. Tweak controls the sweep amount and direction, and ALT sets the volume sensitivity. Be careful with short delay times - that’s where the laser birds live.
