Fat 50s Pickups

Fender's Hand-Wound Fat '50s Strat® singlecoils deliver you all the era-classic tones of a legit 50's instrument while enhancing bass response, without the harsh midrange. The result is barrels of old school tone, all that honk and sparkle the Strat is famous for, but at a level of performance that stands up to modern playing styles and technologies. The middle pickup is also reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum cancellation in the 2 and 4 positions.

Relic Finish

This guitar's Relic finish completely evokes the idea of an instrument that's been heavily played but well taken care of over the decades. Taken out regularly for some serious sessions and gigs and put back in its case at the end of the night. The result is the gorgeous light eggshell-cracking to the finish, the wear and tear around the forearm bevel and that unmistakable fingerboard patina that's the sign of a real workhorse.
