The Bourgeois Touchstone Vintage Dreadnought is built with an Old-Growth Alaskan Spruce top and Adirondack Spruce bracing harvested from deep in Bourgeois' backyard. This is paired with Rosewood back and sides for a rich complex tone with a full midrange. A Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard rounds out the classic design for a familiar playing feel.
All Bourgeois Touchstone series guitars are incredible-sounding instruments, thanks to the hand-voicing process. The incredible luthiers at Bourgeois use a process called tap-tuning - by listening to the wood they are able to use their wealth of experience to know where and how to hand-carve the bracing in all the right places until it delivers the perfect tone. The Aged Tone Sitka Spruce top adds even more resonance and liveliness.
