Following its 2018 release, the award-winning CIOKS DC7 quickly became the new industry standard and the ultimate pedal board PSU for effects pedals.  Eight years later, the DC7 v2 is the latest version of the thinnest, most flexible power supply on the market and has now been updated with a USB-C outlet that delivers three times more power. DC7 v2 has also been optimised to run more efficiently and therefore cooler than the original DC7, while still providing enough power to kickstart a small sun.

Perfect for powering a plethora of today’s hungry effects pedals with clean, filtered power, DC7 v2 allows whatever you have on your pedalboard to perform at its absolute best. The PSU can be expanded with CIOKS 4, CIOKS 8 and Crux (plus other compatible 24V-powered units) for even more isolated outputs and flexibility. Thanks to CIOKS’ pure 2-stage switch-mode technology, DC7 v2 also has a low one-inch (25.4 mm) profile and weighs just 500 grams. The profile may be low, but the power ratings are certainly not. DC7 v2 puts out a maximum of 48 W from its 9 outlets and allows you to connect multiple high-current modern digital effects, plus it provides clean and noiseless power for the fussiest of low powered analog pedals. This means the DC7 v2 can easily power devices such as the Line6 HX series and Neural DSP’s Quad Cortex product range without issues or noise of any kind.

Featuring 7 isolated DC-outlets for effect pedals each with four selectable voltages (9, 12, 15 and 18), all of DC7 v2’s DC outlets can put out 6 W, which at 9 V corresponds to a class leading 660 mA of current. Additionally, DC7 v2 also has a handy 5 V USB-C outlet that’s super useful, not only for charging a phone or tablet, but also for the plethora of USB-C devices many musicians use in their rigs today, such as Hubs and Controllers etc. The auxiliary 24 V outlet allows you to further expand your power connectivity and outlet count with a CIOKS 4/8 an/or Crux, as well as with other compatible 24 V DC power supplies, for even more power flexibility.
