Fulltone OCD Lux Overdrive Pedal

The new OCD’Lux from Fulltone USA brings the original V1, OCD V2 and Custom Shop Germanium voices together with an all-new RAW mode. Two independently controlled drive circuits let you dial in each sound, stack them or place them at different points in your signal chain. Four voices, two circuits and the touch-sensitive response that made the OCD a classic.

Since its introduction in 2004, the OCD has become a benchmark for expressive overdrive. The appeal is in how it responds when you dig in, roll back your guitar’s volume or let a note ring out. OCD’Lux brings together the voices that players have come to love and gives you more ways to make them your own.

Select VTG for the open feel, touch sensitivity and amp-like punch of the original V1, or switch to RAW for a fresh edge with a more immediate, less compressed response. On the right, OCD V2 features a Class A JFET input for picking dynamics, sustain and ringing overtones. Flip to Custom Shop Germanium for hand-selected germanium diodes, a distinctive tube-like feel and wider dynamics. Each side has dedicated Volume, Drive, Tone and High Peak/Low Peak EQ controls, so you can build two different drive sounds without compromise.

Use either circuit on its own or engage both for a bigger, stacked sound. With four top-mounted jacks, you can also put other pedals between the circuits or route them to different positions on your board. Fulltone’s upgraded Enhanced Bypass is designed to preserve tone and picking dynamics through your setup, with True Bypass available as an alternative. Finished in black sparkle with cream controls and built in the USA, OCD’Lux is the OCD we always wanted to build.
