The California Fat Stratocaster was introduced in January 1997 and discontinued in January 1999. These guitars have bodies and necks that were built in the U.S., but painted in Ensenada, Mexico, plus U.S. electronics and hardware.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: Swirl/hazing across the top and some light buckle rash
