What we say:
At A Glance:
The Les Paul modern is much like any other Les Paul from the outside. But dig in a bit and you'll find there are some extra tricks under the hood...
This model's Mahogany body benefits from Ultra-Modern weight relief chambers inside, making it much easier on the shoulder. Sealed with a maple cap, the Gloss Faded Pelham Blue finish on the top looks spectacular and sets this Les Paul model apart from the others. The back of the guitar is finished with Natural lacquer, making even more of a feature out of the cool finish on the top.
The neck is where a lot of the specs differ from other Les Paul models and give the guitar a completely different feel making the guitar as a whole a different animal entirely when played!
Features We Love:
The Neck
To begin with, the heel, where the neck joins the body, is contoured to give your hand more access to those upper frets, the neck is carved into an asymmetric profile to match the natural shape of your hand, while the Ebony fingerboard has a compound radius, which means it flattens out as it ascends toward the guitar’s body. This is especially beneficial when soloing time comes round: flatter radius fingerboards are far easier to bend notes on!
Weight Relief Chambers
If you've ever played an older Les Paul then you'll know exactly how heavy they can be, especially over a long period of time! This model benefits from Ultra-Modern weight relief chambers making the guitar much lighter. This means that you'll be holding it up no problem for those three hour Wembly sets (or just in your bedroom).
Dazzling Finish
The fantastic Pelham Blue finish on the top of this guitar is a thing of beauty! Accentuated by the natural finish on both the back and the sides of the body, the blue will really catch your eye, and you'll be thankful it did!
Highlights:
- The neck on this model is full of changes only improving the feel of the guitar!
- Weight relief chambers will allow you to play for longer than ever
- The Pelham Blue finish is sure to get you noticed!
