Features We Love:
ClassicGear Tuners
With an 18:1 gear ratio, these keep with the overall high performance of the guitar. They keep the strings firmly locked in place and not only get them in tune easily but also keep them in tune. An integral part of any performance, good quality tuners are a must for any serious musician.
Pickups
The pickups here are a combination of the new Yosemite unit and a DoubleTap humbucker. The Yosemite is hand-wound and made specially for this range, providing a relatively high output and a nice bold sound. The DoubleTap has a thick and full sound which is ideal for rock and lead tones. The humbucker in the neck is a feature that has been popular since the seventies and adds a little extra muscle to proceedings.
Greasebucket Tone Circuit
Fender have also included their excellent Greasebucket Tone circuit. The Greasebucket is basically a tone control that does its job properly. Turning back the knob removes treble frequencies without ruining every other part of your sound like some standard tone circuits do. You’ll find yourself using the Tone knob a lot more than before when you have the Greasebucket in there!
