Our North Street Edition is a collection of fine Custom Shop built guitars inspired by the much coveted pre-war ‘Golden Era’ classics that were made at the old C.F. Martin factory in North Street, downtown Nazareth during the 1930’s.
The North Street D-28 Herringbone Wild Grain takes the essence of those sought-after prewar guitars with delicately hand-scalloped Golden Era X-bracing, and an Adirondack Spruce top combined with a modern modified low-oval neck to deliver a supremely playable guitar.
As an aesthetic nod to their Golden Era ancestors, the North Street D-28 features Herringbone top inlay, as found on pre-war Style-28 models.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
