What we say:

Here it is: the weapon of choice for the true guitar player's guitar player. Living rock legends look up to Jeff Beck, such is his ability, control and taste, not to mention his sense of melody and jaw dropping technique. If this guitar is good enough for him, it has to be good enough for us too!

There have been a couple of signature Jeff Beck strats over the years, this being the most up to date edition. Gone is the frankly huge boat sized neck and Lace Sensor pickups, in are a still large but much more manageable neck and fender's noiseless pickups. These particular noiseless pickups vary in output form pickup to pickup so you can authentically handle glassy clean neck position runs to saturation high gain leads on the bridge pickup.

The bridge is the slightly older style two point bridge that Jeff prefers for it's tuning stability and sustain. Up at the headstock end you'll find a roller nut and locking tuners for ultimate rock-solid tuning stability. This true is a worthy instrument after all.

Too early to say how good the guitar is. Might need a setup. Likewise features sound etc o long had a week.

I was expecting to have to get the guitar set up sometime, but it played and handled just as I would have wanted it to. The trem spring was still in the trem and fell into the case (normally these are missing), the trem handled just right and was shortened just right and was a joy to use. Only slight hiccup was the top e-string slid out of the locking tuner and I replaced it with a 10 gauge and tightened all the tuners up adequately after checking on You Tube how to do this with the 1,2,3,3,4,5 method and I'm all set to change the rest of the strings at a later date. Meantime I'm enjoying playing perhaps the best guitar I've ever owned and have a new lease of life learning (or trying) to play a couple of my guitar hero's wonderful tunes. Maybe at nearly 69 years you're not too old to have fun after all ... happy days! Glad I took that leap of faith ...

The Fender Jeff Beck model is an excellent guitar. It is well made, has great tone, and was very easy to set up to my liking.
