What we say:

Many of BOSS’s products contain extra functionality over and above what is controllable directly from the device. In these occasions, using pedals like this FS-5U is the road ahead to squeeze the maximum amount of expression and fun form your effects.

This 'unlatching' model is used for momentary switching; in other words, the pedal only stays on whilst pressed by your foot. As soon as you take your foot away, the pedal immediately reverts to it's off status.

Specification

Roland/BOSS offers two types of sturdy metal footswitches for different applications. The FS-5U (silver) is a momentary "unlatch"-type footswitch, and the FS-5L (black) is a latch-type footswitch with an LED to indicate status. Both footswitches can be connected using ordinary guitar cables. Please consult your owner's manual for compatibility.

Typical Boss product, it works well and will last a long time.

Alan M. - 21/4/2023

Opened up a new world for my very old BOSS ME5 effects board. Should have bought this pedal in the 80s.

John H. - 20/11/2020

Does the job. Perfect in tandem with BR 800 and other Boss products, like Boss Loop stations etc.

Peter B. - 8/6/2020

Well built and does what it claims to do.

Andrew B. - 18/4/2018

super tough pedals I have 4 now, these are linked to my Roland amp which is amazing, there are better pedals out there, but for the price I am really happy with them, as I am a beginner guitarist these suit me fine.

N.B. - 19/8/2014

Awesome! Connected with a fender cable, i love them both works brilliantly with my roland amp....
