What we say:

At A Glance:

The Shure Beta 56A is a tried and tested mic for use on snare drums and toms. Capable of capturing high sound pressure levels, the Beta 56A offers a clear and accurate representation of low-end frequencies, making it ideal for both stage and studio use.

Features We Love:

The Beta 56A In Use

Engineered to clearly capture a full range of frequencies at a high sound pressure level, the Beta 56A is ideal for use in the studio and on stage for snare drums and rack and floor toms. Its supercardioid polar pattern means that it's incredibly directional, clearly capturing what you point it at with no interference from other instruments or risk of feedback.

Engineered for Stability

The mic features a built-in locking stand adapter and an integral XLR connecter, which means that if the drum happens to move mid-song, it's not going to knock the mic out of its clip and onto the floor.

Who Is It For?

Drummers, sound engineers, studio and music venues looking for a reliable classic drum mic.

Highlights:

  • Built for snare drums and tom toms.
  • Ideal for stage and studio use
  • Built-in lockable stand attachment
