This stylish, cool guitar is what happens when Gretsch get their hands on a Dreadnought! Full of charm and charisma, this G5024E Rancher matches these good looks with confident, quality performance.
Dreadnoughts are known for their versatility: you get a big, percussive sound but you also get good sensitive dynamics for fingerpicking success. This guitar offers all of this with a quality tone supplied in part by the solid Spruce top. Laminated Mahogany is used for the back and sides. Overall there is a lively, bright tone available which has a solid bottom end. This type of tonality can lend itself to many genres.
This guitar is finished in gloss Sunburst and has a host of Gretsch touches to ensure visual impact: there is a uniquely shaped tortoiseshell pickguard, plenty of binding, gold hardware and thumbnail inlays. The soundhole is a very distinctive triangle shape!
Fishman supply the electronics here so you can be assured of high quality ‘plugged’ tone when it’s time to gig.
