Fender have served the Legendary James Burton up quite a unique signature Telecaster!

The flaming blue paisley hot-rod finish is not something you'll see on any other guitar! It's a bold look indeed but one that fans of rock 'n' roll, psychobilly and so on will immediately take to. Even ignoring this bold colour choice, there isn't much standard about this Telecaster. James Burton is certainly no dyed-in-the-wool traditionalist...

The neck is a very substantial U-shape, not a common neck carve these days but very distinctive. People who like these bigger necks LOVE them! The pickups are a trio of specially designed single coils only available on this guitar. The are selected with a five way blade, bringing this guitar to be almost a hybrid Strat-Tele. This is further emphasised by the bridge: it's not a typical telecaster plate but instead a through-body Stratocaster hard tail bridge. This host of player-centric modifications on a theme continues with the addition of an S1 switch to provide further pickup switching options. There are a huge number of pickup selections you can achieve with this small number of controls.
