James Burton Pickups
One of the most unique features about this guitar is the pickups and electronics. The 3 single coils are wound to James Burton's specifications to get you the same sound he would play. On top of this Fender have worked their magic in the switching department giving you a 5 way switch and the "S1" Switching option. With the standard 5 way you can select, bridge pickup only, neck pickup only, plus a variety of parallel dual pickup combos and the S1 switch allows you to switch positions 2 and 4 to series!
Basswood Body
A little different from a standard telecaster, but with his guitar that's to be expected. The Basswood body is defined and allows you to cut through the mix well with a warm and growly midrange.
