Ready when you are
Thanks to the constructive feedback from Arturia’s family of product owners - people just like you - we have refined the original MiniLab into something new and exciting.

Created with the mobile musician in mind, MiniLab MkII has a slim, compact profile which makes it perfect for transporting to and from gigs, and for keeping you creating when you’re travelling. With its rugged, durable construction, the revitalized MiniLab can take the strain of life on the road, ready to perform night after night.

Not everyone has the luxury of a spacious studio, and this is where our reinvented controller really shines. MiniLab MkII has a tiny footprint allowing you to place it virtually anywhere within your set-up, even if the only space available is on your lap.

The quality of every component has seen an improvement over the original model, from the keybed to the controller knobs, the touch sensors to the outer casing. Despite the hardware upgrade, MiniLab MkII is still one of the most affordable dedicated controllers on the market.

Portable, yet fully featured. Lightweight but rugged. MiniLab MkII is the new go-to small controller for producers in the know.

At your command
Time is precious. and you need simple, effective control. MiniLab MkII gives you unadulterated access to your software sounds.
Helping you make the most of your virtual instruments and recording software, MiniLab MkII features a great-feeling keybed with 25 slim-keys, 16 knobs, 8 pads, and touch controls in a space-saving package. To help transform your musical ideas into fully-fledged, pro-sounding recordings, MiniLab MkII includes a powerful music production platform, Ableton Live Lite. From inception to completion, MiniLab MkII keeps you in control every step of the way.

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4.3/5 (7 reviews)

It was very difficult choosing which midi keyboard to buy as there are so many to choose from, the reason I purchased the Arturia mk II was for the size of the keyboard and keys. It is also well built and not plasticky. I also watched many videos on YouTube which helped me decide which one to buy. I have had it now for over a week and I am very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.

The keyboard itself has a lot of positives, however, downloading all of the software wasn't straightforward and there is a lack of immediate instructions on how to set up and use the various functions.

Keys are very cheap-feeling and small. Comes with a huge array of software bonus extras but sweet FA help or roadmap ? so you get sucked into a hellish vortex of registration, downloading, inducements to upgrade, more registration, more passwords, more installs, more registrations, more passwords etc. So the "generosity", in the end, is competely threadbare. If you just want to get going you're in for some serious frustration and a computer full of junk. Anyway, the keys are plasticy and quite unplayable. The pads are good. The knobs look professional. But there's no day long enough to find out what or how you should do with them ? and that's in the midst of lockdown! They probably just open up more popup windows selling esoteric vintage synth samples, once you've registered and done a new password, flashed your credit card and downloaded some more junkware.

Excellent keyboard, however it may take some a while to get used to the stiff pads.

Not had this long but so far the build is very good and the software bundle with it is really good. The only thing is the pads don't seem to be the best but not sure if it's something the can be changed in the settings. This came with Ableton live lite which seems to be really good although I am more used to GarageBand and Logic Pro X so the workflow is harder to get used to.
