About Arturia

Arturia is a French company that makes amazing analog synthesizers and drum machines, high-quality virtual instrument software and a range of controller keyboards and sequencers. Originating as a software company, Arturia began by developing high quality emulations of classic analog synthesizers. The Moog MiniMoog, Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 and Jupiter 8 all received their own Arturia plugin. The company then implemented the knowledge gained from producing some of the best software available into their own range of analog synthesizers.

The Arturia MiniBrute was released in 2012 to critical acclaim, an analog synthesizer that is closely related to iconic synths from the 1970s but with an identity and sound all of its own. The following year the awesome MicroBrute was launched, the smaller sibling to the MiniBrute that packs just as much punch. The MiniBrute has also spawned a sequel in the inventively titled MiniBrute 2, expanding on the features of the original by adding a large patch bay, an additional VCO and expressive sequencing. Finally, the flagship MatrixBrute takes all that's great about analog Arturia synths and expands it to its maximum potential, packing a huge amount of features including a 63 step sequencer, analog effects and a huge mod matrix. All Arturia synths feature CV/Gate connectivity, making them perfect for breaking into the modular world of Eurorack.

Following on from their award-winning analog synths, Arturia have launched two excellent analog drum machines, the DrumBrute and the DrumBrute Impact. The Arturia DrumBrute offers 17 distinct and highly tweakable drum sounds, a world-class sequencer and 12 individual outputs. The DrumBrute Impact is a stripped down muscle-bound freak of a drum machine, with 10 high energy analog sounds and a distortion circuit. The Impact is built for sheer rhythmic power!

Arturia make some excellent controllers for use with synth modules and Eurorack modular systems. Sequencing instruments such as the Keylab, Beatstep and Beatstep Pro offer a great range of features and streamline a process that can be hard to get your head around by providing easy connections and an intuitive user interface.

Finally, what company that creates music software would be complete without having their own MIDI keyboards? Arturia Minilab keyboards offer seamless integration with their fantastic bundled software, featuring mini keys, velocity sensitive drum pads and MIDI-assignable knobs. Minilab is great for musicians on the move and for beginners looking for their first MIDI keyboard and virtual instrument software. Arturia makes some of the best equipment and software available and continues to innovate and release new exciting equipment. We really can't wait to see what's coming next from Arturia!
