What we say:
This Banshee Extreme from Schecter represents serious value for money! Schecter have always been known for putting together excellent quality modern instruments with very good hardware but at this price point, these Banshees wail in a very agreeable way!
Sitting firmly in the hot-rodded S-type category, the Banshee Extreme, shown here in Charcoal Burst, offers lots of tonal options with its H-S-S pickup layout. A thin C shape neck with a 24 X-Jumbo fretted fingerboard provides a perfect surface for detailed playing and extended soloing.
This model has a special 'Hot Rod' Floyd Rose locking tremolo, an exclusive for Schecter. This allows you all of the swooping, dramatic, squealing madness that is so fun to use in your songs for some real drama! The Diamond pickups may be Schecter's own but don't assume them to be generic in any way: Schecter know more about winding a good hot pickup than many boutique makers and these models are fantastic sounding! Hot enough to really burn and shred but not off-puttingly, apocalyptically heavy, the Diamond Plus humbucker will allow you a ton of expression and edge whilst keeping a good full tone. The single coils are still hot but also really glassy and sweet. Don't forget to use your volume control for extra options too!
We haven't even mention the beautiful Figured Maple top, the binding, the matching headstock, the pearloid pickguard...let's just say that there are loads of things to love about the Schecter Banshee Extreme!
