What we say:
Ozark, named after the beautiful and bleak mountain range that stretches from Arkansas right through Kansas & Missouri and into Oklahoma, take their inspiration from the rich seam of folk culture that has permeated this area for centuries. This area is rightly heralded for its strong roots music: the ‘mountain music’ genres of country, folk and bluegrass are especially potent in the hills of the Ozarks and the instruments used in these types of songs - banjoes, mandolins, bouzoukis and more - are the speciality of Ozark instruments. These high quality instruments are designed to bring you authentic looks, sounds and the feel of true mountain instruments.
This tenor Banjo model is a step up in quality from entry level models. It also has a shorter scale for a different feel and response.
The parts are all higher spec: all of the metal components including the armrest and rim have been chrome plated; the drum skin is a REMO Weatherking model and there is even some off-white binding to add some extra class to the resonator!
Gigging payers will be happy to learn that a padded gig bag is included too! This type of banjo is historically used in Irish folk styles but you can adapt and play anything you wish of course! Have fun playing and enjoy this quality, easy to play instrument.
