Schecter bring us a stunning hardtail C-1 shape for 2018 in the form of the C-7 SLS Elite. The C-1 is Schecter's set-neck rock machine. It has two cutaways to provide a sort of hybrid look and there are many, many varieties with different sets of hardware and finishes to choose from. It’s always good to have at least one non-tremolo guitar in your arsenal and this is a great looking option with a powerful, cutting edge sound.

We love this series of C-7 SLS models: the quality of components and construction across the board is sky high, the finishing is wonderful (check out that Black Fade Burst finish over those flames in the Maple!) and the overall effect is extremely satisfying.

Pickups

These Fishman Fluence pickups have a wonderful resistance to hum and background noise. In the neck position is the Alnico version delivering the explosiveness and sheer power of these magnets. This is then paired with the Ceramic version in the bridge - cutting attack, aggressive tone. This combination is killer!

Body Wood

The body is made of a beautiful Swamp Ash, a famously bright and resonant tone wood that also has a striking grain.

'Ultra Thin C' Neck Shape

The 'Ultra Thin C’ neck shape is yet another element of this guitar that suggests it's built for speed. Thin necks easily fit the hand and leave room for your fingers to perform complicated voicings and runs.
