What we say:

At A Glance:

The Fender Player Telecaster Series is one of the most iconic and recognisable models of all time, and with this current line of Telecasters, we have some fresh updates that are sure to please both the old-school and contemporary players. Each Player Series guitar features 22 frets, new colours, a newly designed neck carve and upgraded pickups. Whatever style you play, you’ll be sure to find a favourite amongst the raft of new models available.

Features We Love:

First up is the pickups. Pickups are central to the tone of all guitars and these hotter-than-vintage alnico single coils sound fantastic under a variety of genre tests. The muscular twang you want from a good Telecaster is here in spades! Clean sparkle and robust overdrive tones work well here too.

22 Frets

The 22nd fret is a most welcome addition, and there is an air of quality throughout the fit and finish. We would happily take this to any gig or recording session.

Fender Design, Affordable Price

This affordable Fender Player Telecaster is a no brainer for anyone in the market for a new T-style guitar. Fender have spent decades refining the design of their iconic Telecaster, and this Player Series feels like it has taken it to the next level.

  • Alnico Single Coil Pickups Provide Crisp, Refined Tone

Rob S. - 4/10/2021

Great quality guitar for a very good price, sounds awesome and plays like a dream straight from the box, string tree is a bit low down to the wood, I've added a post to raise it and feels nicer on the b and top e strings now

Michael D. - 14/9/2021

Seems to be good value for the money

I've been looking forward to having a player telecaster for some time. I tried a few shops around Birmingham and found the one i liked at guitarguitar. Guitar is perfect and lives up to its brand.

John B. - 24/7/2021

Katie T. - 21/7/2021

Guitar came in time, good condition but missing a screw on the front

Max F. - 9/7/2021

Being my very first Fender electric guitar (having owned Fender Basses in the past) ... WOW!! Very impressed with the quality, feel and sound. It was almost perfect set-up wise too! This guitar really 'does-it-all', I can't say much more about the purchase. One small thing, the guitar did end up having a few fret sprouts here and there but nothing detrimental and there was a very slight buzz on the low E. I would put that down to weather changes and it could do with a slight set-up from a pro luthier (as all guitars could benefit with one anyway...) Despite this, I could see this guitar becoming a workhorse in anyone's arsenal! Totally a must have for anyone looking for a Telecaster Guitar

Charles L. - 14/6/2021

My son loves it , say no more , only one negative it doesn?t come with a fender gig bag a bit disappointed as it was nearly £600!

David V. - 6/2/2021

Great guitar, no need to spend more on a tele.

John P. - 3/2/2021

It was a gift and the recipient was immensely pleased and has played it every day since. They comment that ?this is everything I ever wanted in a guitar?.

Mrs S. - 2/2/2021

Beautiful guitar, plays amazingly and even at the lower player series has that amazing tele feel and play.

First time I?ve paid a reasonable sum for a guitar. Feels really good to play. Nice sound and great action.

Alan B. - 21/12/2020

No fault of GuitarGuitar as the box was factory sealed but, Fender need to up their quality control because I found a small dent in the body. It's always good to run your finger around the edges of the guitar to check for blemishes. I didn't report this to GuitarGuitar. Overall, the guitar is well made and sounds great, is it worth spending another L1000 to get the all American made version?

N B. - 15/12/2020

Cameron M. - 11/12/2020

For the money, great guitar. I?ve read set up can be bad on these, but mine was immaculate and set up well.

Graham W. - 3/12/2020

High quality instrument. Better than expected. You get what you pay for which is great.

Steven A. - 27/11/2020

Susan C. - 27/9/2020

Iam still looking at it on the wall. I have named her Penny.

Mark B. - 24/9/2020

Overall a very nice example of a Telecaster. Only issues were a very high action out of the box and slight fret sprout.

David C. - 10/9/2020

Martin B. - 26/1/2020

Martyn N. - 9/7/2019

Couple of fret ends needed dressing, action okay, intonation pretty good, A string bridge saddle needed slightly raising due to fret buzz. Overall pleased with the guitar.

John L. - 8/7/2019

Wanted one since they came out and it hasn?t disappointed. Couldn?t get a butterscotch for under L1300 before these and they?re such a great guitar
