Weighing in at only 3.3lbs (1.53kg) the DeLite is the smallest “proper” guitar we have ever made. This diminutive Delta is simply a delight to play, as its name implies.

The body size is not much larger than a baritone ukulele but it has a long scale and full size 1 ¾” nut, making this a serious little guitar with a very special construction. It’s great for focused, bluesy tones and performs wonderfully when fingerpicked. The Delta Delite E comes complete with a SYS100 EQ system for plugging in.

The Delta DeLite is also the ideal instrument for parents looking for a refined and correctly designed, high-quality guitar for their child.

The DeLite also comes with a super deluxe 15mm duo-foam gig bag, so it’s ready to travel the world.

I find the guitar ideal for me, small body, fairly wide fingerboard which is good for fingerpicking - that’s what I do mostly. The strings (12s) that came with it sound good, good bass and treble, with enough tension to prevent string slap. Each to their own of course but I’m glad I bought the guitar. The electrics are good with tone and volume control inside the soundhole The only down side is the battery location which is inside in a bag velcroed to the guitar body. Hopefully it won’t need changing very often.

Good sound, excellent playability, fine fit and finish, good gig bag and discounted price so I am very happy. I can't get around a full-size dreadnaught guitar and this means I can play acoustic comfortably and so will play more; smaller and lighter than my old guitar and case so easier to take places to play with others.

Alvarez artist series are probably the best value guitars for the money today. Alvarez Delta Delite E is in my mind is easily as good as a baby Taylor. This is a guitar that flies in the radar a quality instrument. Now I've let you know that you hurry up and get one quick hahaha!
