What we say:
ESP’s E-II brand brings us a sleek and upmarket Single Cut with looks and style to spare.
The inspirational for this Eclipse is, of course, fairly obvious but ESP make it their own with a thinned down body and slightly sharper angles.
Made, as you might expect, from Mahogany with a set neck, this has a 24.75” scale length and a Rosewood fingerboard. The neck, which is made from a single piece of Mahogany, has a Thin U profile and a 12” radius fingerboard.
This model also features a carved top of Flamed Maple, shown off beautifully by the See-Thru Black finish.
The chrome covered pickups on here are a pair of EMG’s: a 57 and a 66. These active units are perfect for a selection of tones ranging from vintage to modern. ESP and EMG are just one of those classic combinations, especially when twinned up with a Mahogany bodied Single Cut like this Eclipse.
The level of quality on display with this E-II Eclipse is staggering. The feel, look and sound are all of the highest quality. This guitar is a delight.
