Fender have gone for some real quality here with the pickups: two coil-tappable Seymour Duncan humbuckers - a Pearly Gates and a ’59 - allow for a very broad palette of tones that run the gamut from polite to aggressive.
The glued on neck makes this guitar feel significantly different to other Fenders. It is carved into a C shape and topped with a 15.75” radius Indian Laurel fingerboard with jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays. This is a very modern and very highly spec’d instrument!
We recommend this guitar, finished in translucent Amber for any guitarist looking for a contemporary feel and sound but a rich , traditional heritage.
