What we say:

Fender retain the outline of their iconic Telecaster here but jettison the rest in favour of a sleek, carved-top rock machine with a set neck and plenty of gloss.

Matching a Flame Maple carved top to a Mahogany body, this Tele makes no mystery of its inspiration! Binding on the body and neck further hint at the legacy of a certain other famous guitar that shall remain nameless…

Fender have gone for some real quality here with the pickups: two coil-tappable Seymour Duncan humbuckers - a Pearly Gates and a ’59 - allow for a very broad palette of tones that run the gamut from polite to aggressive.

The glued on neck makes this guitar feel significantly different to other Fenders. It is carved into a C shape and topped with a 15.75” radius Indian Laurel fingerboard with jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays. This is a very modern and very highly spec’d instrument!

We recommend this guitar, finished in translucent Crimson Red for any guitarist looking for a contemporary feel and sound but a rich, traditional heritage.

Guitar was setup out of the box. Great service.

This is a beauty. Really well built and it really benefits from amazing humbuckers.

Gregory A. - 14/4/2022

Excellent guitar for the price quality good with excellent pick ups tuners may need up grading though

Roger T. - 30/12/2021

Bought the amber version of this guitar over ten years ago, and loved it, but my eye strayed to a Rickenbacker so I sold it. Love the Rickenbacker, but regretted selling the Fender. So I bought a red one, the colour I would have bought had they been available at the time. So versatile. The coil-tapped Seymours are awesome. The fit and finish are superb, and you can get the action nice and low. It feels really solid, and has amazing sustain. What doesn't show in too well pictures is the body is sculpted, and has a hollow in the back. Comfiest Tele ever!
