What we say:

The Streamliner range is a collection of ultra-affordable Gretsch models that don’t hold back on all the amazing details and styling that make Gretsch such a mesmerising brand! These guitars have specially designed pickups, fully ‘Gretsch’ block fingerboard inlays, cool finishes and a very easy playability to ensure they end up in the hands of gigging players everywhere.

This ‘Junior’ model Gretsch has a scaled-down body but retains all of that signature Gretsch charm! This guitar follows a popular current trend of major manufacturers offering downsized semi acoustic guitars. This makes them more portable and perhaps easier to handle.

It may be worth noting that this is most definitely a full-sized instrument: the scale length of the neck is 24.75” so this is not a 3/4 size guitar or anything like it, it is just a guitar with a smaller body.

In the case of this Gretsch, there is plenty to like. High output humbuckers and a solid centre block through the middle of the guitar mean that the G2655 Streamliner can handle high gain sounds as well as any guitar, despite the f-holes!

Gretsch have kept stylish details like Block inlays and a teardrop pickguard, fitting it all elegantly on the smaller-sized body. This model is finished in Single Barrel Stain and features a hard tail bridge.

The Gretsch G2655 gives you a concentrated dose of Gretsch swagger and playability in a pint-sized package that is sure to impress.

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4.5/5 (4 reviews)

Slight crack in the wood at the nut but have been assured this is finish checking. Guitar play brilliantly, just needed fresh string to bring it back to life.

This guitar model stood very well up with my much more expensive guitars, light action and clear sound for a budget range guitar.

Robert G. - 8/4/2022

The most Beautiful guitar I own. Looks the nuts.

GARY M. - 18/3/2021

This guitar is something I have searched for. I?m a small guy who after a cancer op, struggled to find a comfortable small bodied guitar. The operation I had, made it so awkward to hold a guitar in the most common position. The G2655 is light, small bodied and, so easy for me to hold.
