The Viper is an offset, contoured beast of a guitar: with twin horns and twin humbuckers, this thing is ready to unleash the heaviest of riffs!
The Viper-256 comes in with proper set neck construction and Mahogany for both the body and the neck! We are off to a good start! The scale is 24.75”, as you may well expect given the guitar’s inspiration. ESP have opted for their Thin U neck profile (thankfully, ESP’s ‘Thin’ is not as thin as other manufacturers) and a 13.8” fingerboard radius for fluid soloing adventures. 24 extra jumbo frets help out with that task, too.
This example is finished in Snow White and the finish is carried over to the neck and headstock. The simplicity of design makes this a very attractive guitar indeed.
The pickups are high-output ESP-designed units and are more than ready for all calibers of riff and lead playing.
We think this guitar is stylish, excellent value and should be considered by every Rock guitarist looking for an affordable guitar that feels like a guitar of double the price.
