Alvarez AF60GD-SUNSHINE Grateful Dead Limited Edition

Manufacturer's ID: AF60GD-SUNSHINE

The Grateful Dead AF60GD “Sunshine” design features one of the coolest of all the Dead’s skeletons; the guitar player, sitting on a rock wearing a red, white and blue top hat. The original artwork was of course created by the wonderful Tim Truman and is used to form part of this guitar’s overall summer vibe and named with a nod to the second track on the album Dave's Picks Vol V, "Here Comes Sunshine"

This is a stunning guitar, and captures the spirit of Tim Truman’s many contributions to the band’s artwork.

Due to careful design and our MST1 bracing architecture, this great OM has a rich open tone with bags of response making it a really fun guitar to play. Other features include a flawless gloss top that beautifully showcases the artwork. In the fingerboard there is and 12th fret lightning bolt inlay and to complete the vibe, a Dancing Bear graphic on the back of the headstock.

It’s our honor to be commissioned once more to help create these exciting collectibles that marry iconic rock ‘n’ roll artwork to great musical instruments
