The SLXDX Soloist is part of the X Series from Jackson which features a number of great models offering up excellent performance with a modest price tag. Featuring a Floyd Rose Special Tremolo for all of your whammy needs and Jackson High Output humbuckers for achieving all of those huge tones, it is indeed ready for rock and metal action. The through body maple neck with graphite reinforcement provides reassurance and next level construction. A compound radius with 24 jumbo frets makes playing comfortable and easy. The classy swirl finish may bring to mind some iconic guitars from the 80s but this is certainly not stuck in the past. With all the modern features it is ready for the musician of today.

Jackson High Output Pickups

A set of dual high output humbuckers provide all of your tonal needs. Perfect for big rock chords and metal riffing, these allow for great clarity when playing gets fast. The low end is controlled so palm muting is well articulated.

Compound Radius

The compound radius gives the best of both worlds. Moving from 12" to 16", it is comfortable and natural feeling for chords lower down the neck. As you work your way further up the neck, you can feel how effortless it is for playing lightning fast solos with big bends due to the change in radius.

Floyd Rose Special Tremolo

The Floyd Rose Special double locking tremolo is great for a heavy rock/metal guitar. Perfect for divebombs, raising up those pinch harmonics or doing cool flutter style riffs.
