What we say:

At A Glance

New from Epiphone is the Les Paul Modern Figured in Caribbean Blue fade. Coming out of the Inspired by Gibson Collections range, this has the classic look we know and love but is absolutely packed with a number of excellent modern features. To start with, the Asymmetrical SlimTaper neck profile is very comfortable play, especially with the added contoured heel. Grover Locking Tuners keep your strings locked in place and a Graph Tech Nut is another excellent attribute. A pair of ProBuckers deliver all of your tonal needs while coil-splitting and phase switching open up even more options. A weight relieved body makes it great for all of those long performances and jam sessions. Finally, this guitar is rounded out with a gorgeous AAA flame maple top.

This guitar is seriously impressive and provides a lot for the money.

Features We Love:

ProBucker Pickups

With a ProBucker 3 in the bridge and a ProBucker 2 in the neck, the big humbucker tones are full and rich sounding. Huge chords and blistering solos all cut through with ease making it perfect for rock and metal. The added benefit of coil-splitting means you can split the humbucker to access even more tonal excellence. No longer will you need multiple guitars to get through a show as this can easily perform all of the single coil sounds too!

Grover Locking Rotomatic Tuners

With excellent tuning stability and fast string changing times, these tuners are an excellent choice. An 18:1 ratio provides smooth and accurate tuning and makes for a very player friendly experience. No matter how hard you strum or how big those string bends are, these tuners are designed to help you achieve it. The Tulip Button design is also a lovely touch.

Graph Tech Nut

Often overlooked, the nut is a very important part of a guitar. It plays a huge role in the overall quality of the instrument due to the constant contact it has with the strings. Graph Tech are known for producing high quality guitar parts and the addition of this nut means that playability, performance and tone are all taken care of.

Highlights:

  • A classic model packed with modern features
  • Boasts a stunning AAA flame maple top
  • A lot of guitar for the money
  • Ideal for the gigging musician

Not only beautiful but an excellent instrument of quality calibre. I had my scratchplate upgraded to a clear one to show off the beautiful finish.

A lot of guitar for the money. As they promised. Not a Gibson but for a third of the price not that far off!
