I am over the moon with my purchase of my new Gibson hummingbird .it really is a phenomenal instrument. Ali who served me was brilliant as always. I asked if i could try out there high end acoustics and Ali said no problem. I promised to be careful with the guitars .I tried a martin hd28 and it was also phenomenal but when I picked up the hummingbird it just felt at home .the bass response was absolutely brilliant with all the overtones just ringing and the substain is really something else haha I had to have it .the guitar is also very beautiful really and the wood flawless and I have worked in machining timber for ove 25yrs any imperfections I would know but the guitar is perfect ?? it was a wonderful experience going into the shop been greeted by the staff Ali made me feel really comfortable and was brilliant when I had any questions or needed any help .it always is a great experience when I visit guitar guitar. Thankyou Ali and the team for making my day i have waited a long time for a really fine instrument. A really special day I will never forget. Thanks

Great guitar, went for the ‘original’ after trying the standard. Little difference between them, but original seemed just a bit better. Finish is excellent and hard case is very heavy. Being a short scale guitar the string tension is lower so some open tunings are not that good without a string change. Action out of the box is slightly high for me, but that is an easy fix. Overall an excellent guitar. (Guitar Guitar could not have been more helpful, I was not happy with the first guitar, purely cosmetic, and they ordered a new guitar within 2 days)

The eye catching pick guard with the hummingbird captures the spirit of the guitar which seems to be well built and set up. For oldies like me, the guitar strums like Thunderclap Newman and single notes ring out while the fingerboard allows plenty of space for fingerpicking. Once tuned into my Mesa Boogie Rosette acoustic amp the LR Baggs VTC pickup and preamp produces a very natural sound. The guitar is a work of art as well as a musical instrument.
