What we say:

At A Glance:

The ODR-mini by Nobels takes their classic ODR-1 and shrinks it down to a mini pedal size without losing any of its giant sound! With an all analog signal path, the ODR-mini has you covered for everything from slight break up tones for bluesy licks to full overdriven distortion for big rock riffage!

Features We Love:

Who Is It For

ODR-mini is an excellent choice for guitarists looking for a transparent overdrive option, whether you're using single coil or humbucking pickups, or you're looking to add some grit to your bass tone, this Nobels pedal will keep your tone tight.

Spectrum

The Spectrum knob adjusts the tone of the overdrive, not just setting a peak in the frequency range, it also adjusts the other settings accordingly so the overdrive always sounds great and reacts exactly how you want it to.

Glow-in-the-Dark Knobs

Never again will you struggle to see what your settings are on dark stages thanks to the handy glow in the dark knobs!

Pros:

  • Great sounding overdrive without colouring the tone of your guitar
  • Compact size will save space on your pedal board

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4.5/5 (2 reviews)

I have the full-sized Nobels ODR-1 with the additional bass-cut switch, so I thought I would buy the mini pedal for my small pedalboard. This pedal does not have bass-cut switch because of the limited space, which makes it a bit less versatile in that you can't control a particularly bassy guitar and it can get a bit woofy, but nonetheless it is the best of the mini overdrives I have tried. It can create anything from a slight boost on the edge of crunch through to a powerful crunchy and singing lead, but it maintains much more of the definition of the original guitar sound i.e. "natural overdrive". The "Spectrum" control is its secret weapon. It either cuts or boosts high frequencies AND lower midrange frequencies while leaving the midrange as it is, so you get a thick and wide sound. I would recommend this pedal more to those who use single coil pickups than humbuckers, because some humbuckers lose the bass definition.

Awesome pedal that fits perfectly into my rig.
