Poplar Body with Ash Top
Poplar is widely loved for its excellent all round tonal quality and reliability. Complementing it is the ash top which not only has a stunning grain but also adds some extra mid frequency character to the sound of this bass.
MFD humbucker
The pair of Made In Fullerton Magnetic Field Design humbuckers give you a strong and forceful sound. The placement of the pickups is in the exact sweet spot that Leo Fender specified so you can be confident you are getting the most out of your tone. The pickups have been paired with the Tri-Tone active circuitry to add even more options to your tone, from creamy and subdued to big and punchy, it's easy to get the sound you're looking for with this simple yet effective approach.
Saddle-Lock Bridge
Leo created yet another innovative design with the Saddle-Lock Bridge. The idea was to transfer more of the string vibration energy directly into the body end-grain for an extremely resonant sound. Think big, rich tones that cover a whole host of applications.
